  • If after the sudden-death period, the score remains tied, the match will go to a kick-off to determine which team advances. Place kicks will be used.

  • The kick-off shall proceed as follows:

    • Each team shall nominate three kickers from the players remaining on the field at the end of the overtime period.

    • The team captains shall meet with the referee and toss a coin to determine the kicking order. The away team shall call the toss and the winner of the toss will choose either to kick first or defer. The loser of the toss shall choose the posts to be used.

    • Teams shall place the ball on the 22-meter line directly in front of the posts and alternate kicking at goal.

    • If after three attempts by each team they are still tied, the players shall move the kicking location to the intersection of the 22-meter line and the 15-meter hash on the left side of the field and proceed in the same manner as before.

    • If after three attempts by each team they are still tied, the players shall move the kicking location to the intersection of the 22-meter line andthe 15-meter hash on the right side of the field and proceed in the same manner as before.

    • If after kicking from each of these locations there is still a tie, the teams will start the kicking contest again from the center and progress until a winner is determined.
