Foul Play

• If a referee assesses a red card or orders a player off the field-of-play during a match for any reason, that player is ineligible for further participation in the tournament.

• Players assessed a yellow card must leave the field of play for 2 minutes. These players may retire to their team's touchline rather than behind their opponent's try line.

• Players receiving a red card resulting from two successive yellow cards in a single match are ineligible for further participation in the tournament.

• Yellow cards are not cumulative during the tournament and are reset once a match has ended. 

• An appeals committee consisting of the tournament director and head referee shall review any disciplinary disputes during the tournament. The committee's decision will be final in all matters.
